ABOUT US
Bainbridge Improv Collective is a spontaneous theater company located on Bainbridge Island just a ferry ride from Seattle in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We came together over a joint love for the art of long-form Theatrical Improvisation.
Where short-form improvisation is typically more game-based, long-form focuses on creating one unified narrative throughout a set. This type of organic on-the-spot storytelling creates true spontaneous theater, each show wildly different than the last.
We are passionate about nurturing community and providing performance opportunities for improvisors, because of this, we host a improv-jam session after each show that’s fun for both local improvisors and the audience (that’s right, you only participate if you want to!)

The world is a slighty better place for having improvisation in it than it was before. There’s something about it that says something positive about the human spirit, that a bunch of people can get together and by following a few simple traffic rules can create art and can entertain an audience and can thrill and exalt each other.
